🇬🇧 The Rustic Shoulder-knot moth is a member of the family Noctuidae. The species was first described in 1766. It has been recorded in Greece and is distributed throughout Europe.

The moth has a wingspan of 36 to 42 mm. The forewings are brown with mostly indistinct markings except for the narrow black mark at the base of the wing which gives the species its common name. The hindwings are greyish brown, darker towards the margins, with prominent dark venation. This moth flies at night and is attracted to light and sugar.

🇬🇷 Ο σκόρος με ρουστίκ ώμους είναι μέλος της οικογένειας Noctuidae. Το είδος περιγράφηκε για πρώτη φορά το 1766. Έχει καταγραφεί στην Ελλάδα και διανέμεται σε όλη την Ευρώπη.

Ο σκόρος έχει άνοιγμα φτερών από 36 έως 42 mm. Τα μπροστινά φτερά είναι καφέ με ως επί το πλείστον αδιάκριτα σημάδια εκτός από το στενό μαύρο σημάδι στη βάση του φτερού που δίνει στο είδος το κοινό του όνομα. Τα πίσω φτερά είναι γκριζωπό καφέ, πιο σκούρα προς τα περιθώρια, με εμφανή σκούρα φλέβα. Αυτός ο σκόρος πετά τη νύχτα και έλκεται από το φως και τη ζάχαρη.
